About Moriam
I am a very hard-working and disciplined individual. I will bring to the job my ambition to teach and strengthen student's weaknesses. While there are many qualities that contribute to success in tutoring, I think what makes me a good tutor is my commitment to the job. I’m a very driven person, and I take my student’s success personally. When a student is not progressing as expected, I don’t get frustrated because I empathize and want to figure out an effective solution. I believe that’s why most of the students that I have tutored end up achieving high grades.

I have extensive experience working with students of all ages, always receiving positive feedback from parents and teachers who consistently notice considerable improvements in their child’s work. I have a friendly demeanour and am accessible, with plenty of patience and enthusiasm for the subject. I always tailor my sessions to the student’s individual learning style; past sessions often include plenty of exam practice and timed questions, but also lively discussions, creative activities, film clips, spelling and quizzes, whiteboard games and other less conventional methods of learning. Each session is different, and students always enjoy themselves. My key aim is to always ensure that the student develops confidence in his or her ability, as I strongly believe that this is the foundation for achieving success. I believe in the importance of building confidence, before overloading my students with information. I am patient with my students and work with them to help them achieve the best grades they can, with the utmost courage and assurance.
