About Autumn
"I am a passionate vocal coach with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. My entire career centers on a creative coaching style specifically designed for performers who are active in bands, open mic nights, and songwriting sessions. I specialize in contemporary genres like Indie Rock, Alt Pop, and Acoustic Soul to help you stand out.
Together, we will work closely on lyric writing, discovering unique vocal textures, mastering stage movement, and perfecting your live mic technique. I love blending emotional storytelling directly with solid vocal training so that your true personality shines through every line. For example, I recently helped a singer rearrange their original acoustic track by adjusting their breath pacing to create a much more intimate feeling during the chorus.
We will focus heavily on building the confidence you need to take risks and experiment with your voice on stage. My lessons are relaxed, completely collaborative, and tailored to give you real-world skills that you can use at your next gig. "I design my singing lessons around tone color, genre adaptation, and technical diversity so you can unlock your full artistic potential. We will focus deeply on crucial skills like belting safely, smoothly transitioning registers, and creating beautiful expressive contrast across different musical styles. Our sessions will explore multiple genres ranging from the high energy of musical theater to the raw emotion of indie music.
This creative methodology is perfect for students who want to explore their true vocal identity while keeping their core technique strong. I provide a highly structured progression for serious learners aiming for academic music degrees or competitive high-level performance goals. I also love offering a ton of artistic freedom and emotional depth to singers who just want to tell stories through their own unique style.
For instance, we might adjust the shape of your vowels to change a bright pop sound into a warm acoustic tone within the exact same melody. My goal is to give you the practical tools needed to feel completely secure and versatile in any musical setting. Every lesson is an inviting, supportive space where your personal musical interests guide how we grow and build your signature sound."
