About Amy
My passion for teaching comes from helping students recognize the logic and creativity involved in science. I enjoy transforming challenging topics into understandable ideas and encouraging learners to stay curious.
I have a Master's Degree and 10 years of teaching experience working with high school and college students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have supported learners with different academic needs and helped them improve their performance.
Seeing students develop a genuine interest in chemistry and achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of my profession.

My chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the behavior of substances and the principles behind chemical interactions. I encourage learners to explore concepts through scientific reasoning rather than relying only on memorization.
Students will cover atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, organic chemistry, inorganic reactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, and laboratory applications. Lessons include concept discussions, experimental connections, practice problems, revision activities, and examination preparation.
I create personalized lesson plans based on student goals and current understanding. The focus is to improve conceptual clarity, analytical ability, and confidence in applying chemistry knowledge.
