About Ishita
I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sheffield, where I apply advanced maths and problem-solving every day. With a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A in A-level Maths, I understand what it takes to succeed — and how to help others do the same. I offer online tutoring for 11+ and GCSE students in maths, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry. I've previously supported GCSE students through volunteering, and I’m passionate about making difficult topics feel simple and manageable. My lessons are tailored, patient, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I aim to make maths less overwhelming and help students feel capable, prepared, and proud of their progress.

I have a strong understanding of maths and statistics, and I genuinely enjoy helping others learn. I’ve previously volunteered to support 11+ and GCSE students with maths, which gave me experience explaining topics clearly, adapting to different learning styles, and encouraging students to feel more confident in their abilities. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they need help with tricky topics, exam preparation, or building their overall confidence. I focus on making concepts easy to understand by breaking them down step by step, using examples, and checking understanding along the way. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and take place online. I use interactive tools and clear visuals to keep lessons engaging and effective. I tutor 11+ and GCSE students, usually aged 10 to 16, in maths, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or just needs extra support, I aim to create a calm, friendly learning environment where they can do their best.
