About Omoniyi
Hi, I’m Omoniyi, a graduate of Accounting Education and a passionate Mathematics tutor. My interest in teaching is deeply connected to my own academic journey. Growing up, I experienced academic challenges and had to work consistently and intentionally to improve my performance. That experience taught me that struggling with a subject does not mean a student lacks ability. With patience, encouragement, the right explanation, and consistent practice, significant improvement is possible. This realization shaped my passion for teaching and influenced my decision to pursue a degree in education.
My teaching journey began in 2018 at Saint Louis Grammar School, Akure, where I taught both junior and senior secondary school students. I later continued as a home tutor in Ondo and Lagos States, providing personalized academic support to secondary school students, including Mathematics tutoring.
My educational training and years of teaching experience have positioned me to understand that students learn differently. I am able to identify learning gaps, simplify difficult mathematical concepts, relate them to practical examples, and adjust my teaching approach to suit each student's level and learning pace.
Because I have experienced academic struggles and worked through them myself, I can relate to students who find Mathematics difficult or lack confidence in their abilities. My goal is to help them move from “I can't do this” to understanding the concepts, solving problems independently, and believing in their ability to succeed.

Finding Mathematics difficult or feeling like you are just not good at it? You are in the right place.
Hi, my name is Omoniyi, and I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, patience, and teaching approach. I understand this personally because I also experienced academic challenges while growing up and worked hard to become a better student. Today, that experience inspires the way I teach.
My lessons are simple, interactive, and personalized to your learning needs. I first identify what you already understand and where you are having difficulties. Then, I break challenging concepts into smaller, easier steps, using practical examples, guided exercises, and plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions.
There is no pressure to understand everything immediately. We will work at a pace that helps you understand the concept and gradually build your confidence.
My goal is not just to help you solve Mathematics questions or prepare for examinations. I want you to understand what you are learning, become confident in your abilities, and eventually approach Mathematics with the mindset of, "Yes, I can do this!"
