About Selina
Hi! I'm a dedicated high school student with a strong passion for math and physics. I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts and believe that every student can succeed with clear explanations, patience, and the right learning approach.
As someone who has recently learned many of the same topics, I understand where students often struggle and how to explain concepts in a simple, approachable way. I take the time to ensure my students truly understand the material instead of simply memorizing formulas or procedures. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills, and become more independent learners.
I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Every lesson is tailored to the student's needs, whether they are looking to improve their grades, prepare for quizzes and exams, complete homework, or strengthen their overall understanding of math and physics.

I believe every student can succeed in math and physics with the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's learning pace. I explain concepts using clear, descriptive language and relatable examples to make abstract ideas easier to understand. Rather than having students memorize formulas or definitions, I help them build connections between different concepts so they develop a deeper understanding of how and why things work.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and any questions the student may have. I then introduce new concepts through step-by-step explanations and work through several example problems together. Once the student feels comfortable, I encourage them to solve similar questions independently and explain their thinking aloud. By discussing their reasoning and addressing any misconceptions, I help reinforce their understanding, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build the confidence to tackle new challenges on their own.
What sets me apart is that, as a current high school student, I understand the challenges students face because I have recently learned the same material myself. I know common mistakes, effective study strategies, and how to explain difficult topics in simple, easy-to-understand language. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence and enjoy learning.
My lessons are designed for elementary school students and high school students up to Grade 10 who need help with math or physics. Whether a student wants to strengthen their understanding of class material, prepare for quizzes and exams, complete homework, or get ahead in school, I am committed to providing patient, personalized support that helps them achieve their goals.
