About Clay
Hello! I am a Spanish tutor with a Bachelor's in Hispanic Studies and over 10 years of teaching experience. I help students improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills at all levels. Conversation is the core of my lessons to build confidence and fluency. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, making learning practical and intuitive. I integrate cultural learning, including films, music, literature, traditions, and regional accents. Students also explore idiomatic expressions, colloquial phrases, and slang to sound natural. My teaching is interactive, engaging, and tailored to the student's goals and learning pace. I provide constructive feedback on pronunciation, grammar, fluency, and comprehension. Role-playing, guided dialogues, and practical exercises reinforce skills. Lessons are available online or in person with flexible scheduling. I provide strategies for practice between lessons to maintain steady progress. I help students prepare for exams, travel, business, or personal enrichment.
