About Faye
I hold a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry and have spent ten years teaching students to understand, appreciate, and excel in chemical science. My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about molecular interactions and evolved into a passion for teaching and mentorship. I focus on personalised instruction, combining clarity, patience, and hands-on guidance to help learners master both theory and practice. I aim to develop independence, confidence, and critical thinking skills alongside technical knowledge, ensuring students gain a holistic understanding of the subject. Outside teaching, I engage in research, lab experimentation, and professional development to maintain current knowledge of chemical science. Chemistry is not only a discipline I teach — it is a way to interpret the natural world, and sharing that understanding with students is my deepest professional fulfilment.

Beginners focus on atoms, elements, compounds, and basic reaction principles. Intermediate students explore thermodynamics, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, and laboratory techniques. Advanced learners tackle organic synthesis, analytical methods, reaction mechanisms, and experimental design. I integrate experiments, problem-solving exercises, and real-world examples to strengthen understanding and practical competence. Each stage emphasises independent thinking, application, and critical analysis.
