About Jeruto
Teaching is more than a profession to me — it is a calling. I want to teach because I believe in the power of education to transform lives, open minds, and build better societies. As an English and Literature teacher, I am passionate about helping students develop not just language skills, but also empathy, critical thinking, and confidence in self-expression. I am inspired by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young people — to guide, support, and challenge them to reach their full potential. Teaching allows me to share my love for language and storytelling while encouraging students to find their own voices and perspectives. Looking ahead, I am particularly excited about teaching in Australia, where I can contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment, continue growing professionally, and bring a global perspective to the classroom.
