About Chelsey
I hold a BA in Child Development and Education and have extensive experience working in both school environments and clinical settings, supporting children with complex needs and mental health challenges. My work has given me a deep understanding of how children learn, develop, and overcome challenges, particularly those who require additional support. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other needs, helping them navigate both their education and emotional well-being. My experience in schools has allowed me to support children academically and socially, while my work in clinical settings has deepened my understanding of the impact mental health has on learning. These experiences have reinforced my passion for education and my belief in the power of language as a tool for communication, confidence, and self-expression. I want to teach English to children because I believe language is key to unlocking opportunities, building connections, and fostering independence. Learning English empowers children to express themselves, engage with the world, and develop essential life skills. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child, regardless of their background or challenges, can thrive. By tailoring my approach to each child’s needs, I aim to make learning English an enjoyable and enriching experience, helping them gain confidence in both their language abilities and themselves.

My experience has given me deep insight into how children learn best, allowing me to create engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where every child can thrive. Having worked closely with children facing challenges such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other additional needs, I tailor my teaching methods to each child’s individual strengths and learning style, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and confident in their abilities. My goal is to make learning English an enjoyable and empowering experience. I use creative, interactive, and structured techniques to help children develop their language skills while also fostering their self-expression and communication. I am passionate about helping children unlock their full potential, ensuring they not only improve their English skills but also develop a love for learning. Through my experience and commitment, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children I teach, supporting both their educational and emotional well-being.
