I am someone who has loved mathematics from a young age and has always jumped at the opportunity to explain cool and interesting ideas to other people. Some examples of this include:
--> Volunteered as a teaching assistant to the top set GCSE maths class during my sixth form years.
--> Co-ran a weekly workshop during my third year of my undergraduate studies for the second year maths students to come and ask questions about their coursework throughout the year.
--> Tutoring my 2 nephews and niece both before and during the national lockdowns. All of which are currently working with me on mathematics above the level being taught to them at school.

My tutoring approach is to break subjects down into their fundamental components and then rebuild the students knowledge on much stronger foundations.
I have taught students from a range of different ages: from KS3 right up to A-level and even have experience teaching degree level material. My academic career has taught me to how to learn a subject on a very deep level and these are learning techniques I instill into my students.
I will go above and beyond to help my student achieve their goals including writing up detailed reports after each lessons updating on the student's progress, typing up notes on the topics covered and writing homeworks for the student to practice material at home - all on request!
