About Amanda
Hi, I am Amanda and I can help you with maths.
If you want to feel confident walking into your next exam then my classes are the perfect place for you. I help my students to feel prepared for exams and have helped students receive exceptional results.
I teach many students all at different levels and have helped them all feel more confident in the subject. I not only teach mathematics but also the exam technique along with this, helping students to pick up as many marks as possible along with helping students with revision techniques to use across other subjects.

I currently offer lessons online, I work hard to keep my lessons active and engaging. I will be using an Apple pencil so that you can actually see what I am writing, we work together through problems so that students are always kept engaged and are actively learning, all materials are provided by me so all you need is a device to join the call!
When we start a session we will begin by testing previous knowledge, this is extremely important for long-term memory. After this we will decide on a topic that you would like to go through and work through this together, working on memory and exam preparation.
I tutor from Primary up till GCSE level with my students. For GCSE students, I am currently only teaching up to foundation level. I hope that you are interested!

Amanda is the most organised and punctual person I know, she has both tutored and babysat for me and has always done an amazing job. She makes an amazing tutor and is is really flexible when arranging lessons, even making special arrangements and including extra breaks with my son who has special learning difficulties.
