About Dayana Carolina
My name is Dayana Chalá, a Doctoral researcher and a proud first-generation university graduate. In July 2024, I graduated Summa Cum Laude, becoming the first female to earn a Doctorate in Engineering from my university. With over 10 scientific publications in renowned journals, I specialize in solving complex mathematical and environmental challenges. My research spans measuring soil and water contamination to designing experiments using the scientific method, integrating innovation and rigor into every project. Teaching is my passion. I’ve successfully taught high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, helping them achieve measurable improvements in their knowledge and careers.
