About David
My name is Dave, and I am an engineering student with a strong background in Math and Chemistry. I enjoy teaching because I believe knowledge is meant to be passed down and truly understood by each generation, not just memorized for exams. Teaching allows me to give back by helping students build confidence, understanding, and problem-solving skills that will support them long after the classroom. I take a professional, patient, and structured approach to every lesson, ensuring students feel supported while making real progress.

My approach to tutoring My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on long-term understanding rather than short-term cramming. I aim to help students build confidence and skills that last by constantly building on what they already know. How lessons are structured Lessons typically last 40–45 minutes and are structured as follows: First 10–15 minutes: Quick recap of previous work, as learning is always built on earlier topics Next 15 minutes: Introduction and explanation of a new concept in a clear, simple way and precise manner Final 15 minutes: Practice and application to iron out any difficulties and ensure understanding I believe practice is key — no one likes extra work, but it’s through practice that real improvement happens. Experience & levels I am an engineering student with a strong background in Math and Chemistry. I teach Leaving Cert students (Higher and Ordinary level), adapting lessons to suit each student’s pace and ability.
