About Peter
I received a bachelor's degree in Physics from University College London in 2017, specialising in experimental particle physics. I returned for a part-time master's degree in 2019 where I initially worked in experimental particle physics and later in infectious disease modelling whilst singing in the choir of King's College Cambridge. After my MSc I moved to Oxford and began working for the UK Health Security Agency as a modelling analyst, where I applied machine learning and epidemiological models to the prediction of PCR test demand.

I normally teach for at least an hour a week combining lessons with paired programming sessions, which ensure that you learn the content and apply it immediately. These can either be in person or remotely via Zoom. I have assisted undergrad and MSc students with their academic research projects, including one with no experience in software development or machine learning prior to the start of his course.
