-Brains work differently and some brains perceive certain concepts faster than others. If I am not asked to teach specific concepts a student is struggling with, my all-time tactic is conducting a test in our first lesson and building a personalized curriculum to tackle the areas of struggle.
-Lessons involve explanation of concepts and practice exercises on the concepts till the student is confident. Homework is an important form of practice and at the end of the class I will assign the homework for next time.
-As a tutor with 4 years of experience, I must say I love the job. I always make sure to engage with students so they remain focused throughout the whole session. I believe building relationships with younger students is an essential step too.
-I can tutor math for any level, class or curriculum as previous to my university studies, I studied in 3 different countries and ended high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma in Higher Level Mathematics. I do preparations for standardized tests as well.
