About Harshita
Hello! I’m Harshika, a Data Science graduate from IIT Madras with a strong Computer Science background. Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching US students Coding, Mathematics, and SAT preparation, helping them gain both confidence and results. I believe learning should be clear, interactive, and enjoyable. My goal is not just to teach formulas or code, but to build logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning that lasts beyond exams. I adapt my methods to each student’s pace, ensuring they feel supported and motivated at every step. Teaching is my passion because I know how powerful the right guidance can be. I want to share my knowledge to make difficult subjects simple, show students how concepts connect to real life, and help them achieve their academic goals with confidence. My Teaching Approach
1. Teaching Techniques & Methods - Focus on concept clarity and strong fundamentals with step-by-step explanations.
Use real-world examples, coding exercises, and quizzes to make learning engaging. Encourage active participation and problem-solving skills.
2. Usual Structure of a Class -
Warm-up (5 min): Quick recap.
Core Lesson (25–30 min): New concepts with examples.
Practice (15 min): Problem-solving or coding tasks.
Review (10 min): Doubts, corrections, and summary.
