About Victor
I became interested in programming when I was 12 years old and during my technical course in Data Processing I decided that it was what I wanted professionally, I studied Computer Science at Unicamp - where I focused on Machine Learning and Data Science related subjects - I always liked explaining and teaching anything related to programming or computing. I have 5 years of experience in the market, both as a Java Backend Developer and as a Machine Learning Analyst (using Python), I have also worked in the academic area, with research projects in Bioinformatics and Computer Vision.

I strongly believe in learning through projects, you can suggest a problem that you would like to address or choose from some options that I bring, in each session we will attack specific topics of the problem that interest you, and little by little we will walk towards the final result, this is a great opportunity to add a project to your portfolio, whether you are a beginner or more experienced.
A session/class with me basically has 3 parts:
- Prologue: where we review what was done in the previous session and analyze something you have developed in the meantime.
- The Class: where we go through the theoretical part of the subject that we are going to address, we see some examples and we discuss how to apply this in the project we are developing
- Epilogue: We talked about the theme of the next class, it is also at this time that I pass on some reading or reference material.
