About Reena
Movement has always been crucial to me, especially being in my mid-40s. Exercise might not always be exciting, but with dance, we can make it fun and beneficial. When teaching, it always makes me happy to see my students improve.

About the lesson

I usually teach in 4 week blocks, each class is 45 minutes long.
1st lesson is an introduction to 20 simple dance steps that we will use throughout the 4 weeks plus an easy routine.
2nd lesson - hip hop and pop
3rd lesson - latin funk
4th lesson - combination of all dances taught
I teach the lessons in dance tabata form that means 20 seconds of dance followed by 10 seconds of rest.
You learn the dance moves and have 8 rounds to remember the dance moves.
This promotes memory retention, helps with coordination and balance, and also helps you keep up with your physical activity.
My usual students are older women and young adults with disabilities. I have been a dancer since I was 5 and I have taught for over 5 years in dance and also was a personal trainer for over 10 years. I am a mother to a young adult with mild disabilities.
I am creative, patient, and fun and also sometimes forget the dance steps myself.
