About Dani
Hi, my name is Daniella Wilson! I’m a 20-year-old Dance major with a Theatre minor, and I’ve been dancing for over 10 years. Throughout my training, I’ve studied a wide variety of styles including jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, belly dance, and more. Dance has been a huge part of my life, not only as a performer but also as a choreographer, where I’ve had the opportunity to create pieces that blend technique, storytelling, and personal expression. What makes me most passionate about teaching is sharing the joy of dance with others. My classes are designed to be fun, creative, and welcoming for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or a dancer with experience. I love getting to know my students as people, helping them feel comfortable, confident, and excited to grow. I believe dance is more than just movement. It’s a way to connect, express yourself, and build confidence both on and off the dance floor. With my background in theatre, I also bring an emphasis on performance quality and stage presence, encouraging students to not just learn steps but to embody emotion and character in their movement. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where dancers feel inspired to try new things, push themselves, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

My Approach as a Dance Tutor
Teaching Method & Techniques:
My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and fun. I believe that dance should feel both challenging and enjoyable, so I focus on building a balance between proper technique and creative expression. I break movement down into easy-to-follow steps, use repetition to build confidence, and incorporate music and exercises that keep lessons engaging.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson begins with a short warm-up to get the body moving and prevent injuries. From there, we move into technique drills and guided exercises based on the student’s goals (whether it’s flexibility, rhythm, or choreography). I then introduce a short dance combination where students can apply what they’ve learned, followed by a cool-down, peer discussion and reflection to check in on progress.
What Sets Me Apart:
I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where students feel comfortable being themselves. Beyond teaching dance steps, I focus on building personal connections with my students and getting to know them as individuals. This allows me to adapt lessons to each dancer’s learning style, making every class feel personalized and supportive. My goal is for students to walk away feeling accomplished, motivated, and seen.

My lessons are open to dancers of all levels—from beginners exploring dance for the first time to more experienced students looking to sharpen their skills. I welcome teens, college students, and adults who want to learn in a comfortable online environment that emphasizes growth, expression, and joy in movement.
My online dance lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and welcoming for dancers of all levels. Each class blends structured lesson plans with flexibility, so you’ll build technique while also having space to explore movement in your own way. I focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where we can connect not just as teacher and student, but as people. I believe dance is more than just steps. It’s a way to express yourself, build confidence, and enjoy the process. My goal is to make every class feel like a community where you can learn, grow, and have fun while feeling truly seen and supported.

Dani is an amazing teacher! She gives off the best vibes and helps you whenever needed! She’s never given me a bad vibe or has ever been rude to dancers. I feel that dance has a lot of teachers that can give off a weird attitude or isn’t nice but Dani is NOT one of them at all. She’s one of the few that actually makes you feel the love for dance!
