About Declan
As someone who has gone through the rigorous classes with clinical on top, I know how overwhelming nursing can be. There were times in school where I was stressed and struggling in some of my nursing courses. However, this profession is well worth it. The schooling does pay off and prepares you for practice more than you even realize. It's important to not get discouraged.

What sets me apart from most tutors in this field is I currently work at University Hospitals in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU). I tutored throughout high school and now most of my teaching is with students and new grad nurses on my floor. I try to break things down to the most basic concepts and then build up from there. Without understanding the basics the complex ideas can be even more challenging to grasp.
