About Malinig
I am an experienced Flute tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. I have guided students from different age groups and helped them build confidence and musical understanding through flute learning.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, patience, and regular practice. I believe music should be learnt in a comfortable and encouraging environment. I focus on helping students understand the basics clearly before moving to advanced concepts.
In my flute lessons, I teach proper breathing techniques, posture, tone clarity, finger coordination, rhythm control, and musical expression. I also include music theory, sight-reading, and listening exercises to support complete musical growth. For advanced learners and professionals, I focus on performance skills and refinement.
One of my key achievements is helping students perform confidently in school events, college programmes, and music examinations. Many students have shown steady improvement and musical discipline through structured guidance.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning flute and develop a lifelong connection with music.

My teaching methodology is designed to make flute learning practical, enjoyable, and effective. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect lessons to real music experiences, helping students understand concepts clearly. I focus on understanding each student’s learning style, strengths, and progress, tailoring lessons to meet their individual needs.
Communication is a key part of my approach; I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and reflect on their growth. Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest feedback while motivating students to achieve consistent progress.
In addition to flute techniques, I also teach music theory, rhythm, improvisation, and performance strategies to give students a complete musical foundation. This methodology helps students grow technically, creatively, and confidently while enjoying music.
