About Ilian
After completing my Scientific Baccalaureate with a focus on Engineering Sciences, I pursued a DUT in Computer Science, where I graduated top of my class with an average of 18.50. I completed my studies with an engineering degree at a prestigious public school: French Sorbonne UTC.
I completed this program through a work-study arrangement in a company within the defense sector. This gave me the opportunity to work on military-related projects, which I would be happy to explain to you (just kidding, of course).
Over these years of studying science, I have gained significant practical experience. These theoretical skills are complemented by concrete projects that I often use to demonstrate real-world applications to my students.
Thanks to several years of experience and mentoring over a hundred students (my first lesson was on February 22, 2020), I have developed a teaching approach that is consistently appreciated by my students.

I tutored about ten students this school year, all of whom were very satisfied. Lessons ran from September to March (final exams). I also handled specific cases: high-level athletes, students following CNED courses remotely, students one year behind in the curriculum, and students with various challenges (attention, concentration, TDAH, etc.).
Lessons start by reviewing and consolidating the student’s existing knowledge. We then plan the session: topics to cover, exercises, and difficulty level.
My usual approach includes an oral explanation supported by diagrams and drawings, followed by a concrete example, and then an exercise for the student on the concept just introduced.
My Python skills cover most common needs:
- Data organization: variables, arrays, dictionaries
- Code structuring: conditionals, loops, functions
- Object-oriented programming: classes, objects, methods, modeling
- Packages: numpy, matplotlib, tkinter, etc.
