I am a student who has been teaching children within established tuition centres for over 3 years. During this time I have taught hundreds of children from a range of backgrounds, and have found the experience rewarding, especially considering the high success rate of these students.

For any student I think it is vital to first of all understand the child's individual preferences when it comes to learning, because if they are comfortable with how they are learning, they will excel. For Maths and 11+ lessons the structure I believe works best is topic to topic, and then repetition of those topics through exam papers. On the other hand for English especially at higher levels it is important to improve their overall writing style in terms of quality and creativity.
