Hi there. I'm Elaine. I am a passionate teacher of Chinese.
Whether you are a young learner, a busy professional, or a senior looking to explore a new language and culture, come and join me！ Learning is never easy. So let's make sure we are doing this in an effective yet not so dull way.
For the early learners: Our focus is on building basic communication skills, recognizing characters, and developing an early love for the language. Topics include school life, pop culture, social media, and future planning—all while expanding vocabulary and improving fluency. Get to know Mandarin in a natural and exciting way.
If you are already on your way: Whether you're learning for work, travel, or personal interest, I tailor lessons to your specific needs. We can focus on business Chinese, daily conversation, cultural insights, or even specialized topics. I place strong emphasis on practical communication skills and accurate pronunciation. Role-playing real situations like ordering food, taking a taxi, negotiating, or making friends—so you can use Chinese confidently in context.
Perhaps you are looking for something special: I am a very local Beijinger. I grew up in one of those 四合院. Speaking a foreign language with a dialect, that'll make you distinctive and memorable. Don't you want some of that?!
