About Rahul Venkitaraman
I am a fourth year engineering student in R.V. College of Engineering with 3 years of experience in tutoring students in mathematics. I have been giving tuitions for mathematics since grade 11. I have also taught mathematics to under privileged children and helped them secure good marks in their board exams. During my 12th board exams, I scored 99% marks in Physics.
Furthermore, I can breakdown any complex problem into a very understandable level.

My teaching technique starts by understanding the student, finding out their weakness and strengths. I make the strengths concrete and minimize the weakness. I believe in activity based learning in tandem with a lot of practice. I have taught children who have lacked the skills in basic arithmetic(addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) and I have helped them secure at least 80% in their final exams.
As a working professional, I work in a dynamic environment where engineering skills do not work alone. Need to be quick on the feet as well in the mind and I give all credit to my basic education that I received in my school days. My accolades reach back to the roots that I had carefully nurtured in school and I hope to sprout more stronger roots to my students.
Further, as an engineering graduate, I always come up with several logical approaches to an answer that can help the student find out the easiest/fastest method to solve a problem and simultaneously bury the concept deep in the mind.
Board exams focus majorly on the presentation of the answer and I can help provide the correct presentation which can help the student secure the highest(even maximum) possible marks.
My teaching technique has also helped engineering students. I created an Information Communications Tool (ICT) that helps in developing a better understanding of the experiments that are conducted in the Mechanics of Materials (MoM) Lab at R.V. College of Engineering (6 YouTube videos, 27,000+ views from students and professors from various institutions) which helps students understand the experiments in a very straightforward manner.
