About Max
I am an undergrad mathematics major at the University of Texas at Austin. I am currently in my junior year. I wasn't always a math major and felt sometimes that "math wasn't for me". It wasn't until I met professors at UT who inspired a passion for mathematics in me that I decided to change my major. I am continuing on now to do projects in applied mathematics. I just hope to be someone who can show you the beauty that lies in mathematics.

I understand the difficulty of taking calculus and algebra in high school, sometimes you feel out of place, or you feel left behind. I know in those instances it can feel like "math just isn't for you". I hope to provide an inside look into mathematics that doesn't leave you just accepting mathematical results, but understanding how you achieve results. I will provide ways to meet you at your conceptual understanding and provide intuitive approaches to calculus and algebra.
