About Désirée
My musical journey began quite early, I joined classes with flexible hours at the age of 10 in order to make it my job: the flute has not let me down since.
I was trained by Madeleine Chassang at the CRR of Paris then I joined the Higher Pole of Paris in 2015 where I obtained my National Superior Musician Diploma as well as my State Teaching Diploma and my Musicology License (in partnership with the Sorbonne).
Today I perform regularly in concert, I was nominated 1st prize first nominated in the Augusta Holmès 2022 competition where I won a silver and gold mouthpiece with engravings from the Faulisi house.
I participated in several festivals with the pianist Misato Sumihiro: Bord de Cisse festival, museum of romantic life, Anas foundation in Evry,...
I also had the chance to take part in numerous events with the Laac dance company, notably at the Théâtre Des Champs Elysées, the Louvre museum, and even the Parc de la Villette.
I am passionate about the orchestra and I am often invited to perform as a reservist in different places. I am a member of the Ostinato workshop orchestra which gives me the opportunity to work with exceptional conductors like Simon Proust or Lucie Leguay.

I am a flute teacher, I taught for a long time in a conservatory for beginners but also confirmed levels.
The human being is placed at the heart of my pedagogy, I know how to be demanding while remaining attentive to my students and following the rhythm of each one.
Passionate about teaching, I like to wonder about means of transmission adapted to children. In this sense I have developed a method that mixes music and drawing (for children aged 8 to 12).
