About Janaan
I am passionate about helping students build confidence in subjects that can often feel overwhelming. As a neurodivergent tutor, I understand that everyone learns differently. I take a personalised approach, working with each student to find out how they best absorb information—whether through visuals, real-world examples, discussion or breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. I have experience working with neurodivergent teenagers and aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

In Maths, I cover key areas including algebra, trigonometry and introductory calculus. In science, I help students not just to memorise facts but understand the principles behind them. I also offer support in helping students strengthen their essay writing, source analysis and exam technique. My lessons are flexible, friendly and focus on helping students feel more confident and in control of their learning. A typical session lasts 1-2 hours and is targeted for children/teens between the ages of 10 to 16.
