I am a very outgoing and approachable tutor who believes that learning should be fun and engaging. I’m not a strict-type of tutor; instead, I create a comfortable environment where students can enjoy learning and feel confident asking questions. I also encourage and motivate my students to believe in themselves and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.

I use a wide range of examples, algebraic manipulation techniques, and real-life analogies to help students understand mathematical concepts. I believe the most important part of teaching math is understanding the concept and knowing why a method works, rather than simply memorizing steps to solve an equation. I like connecting mathematical ideas to everyday situations so students can visualize and relate to what they are learning. I prefer teaching NCEA Level 1 and Level 2 Mathematics, where I can help students build a strong foundation, develop problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in solving problems independently.
