About Kaashish
So I believe tutoring is more effective when there is a good rapport between the student and tutor so here is a little bit about myself! Alongside my passion for contributing towards people’s physical and mental wellbeing through optometry, I also thoroughly enjoy dancing, playing netball, and knitting which I initially picked up as a means to spend more time with my grandma. Oh, and most importantly, I LOVE dogs!

A key fundament of my tutoring style is adapting my approach to each individual to ensure sessions are personalised so the student not only improves, but also enjoys their time studying. I aim to have a balance of both supported practice and independent practice during sessions, to enable the student to develop confidence in their work. A typical session is usually 1 hour, but I am happy to offer 2 hour sessions also! Having 4 years of experience in tutoring children aged 4 to 16 has enabled me to gather a strong understanding of the curriculum where I can create a suitable study plan for each student.
