About Dominykas
I am Dominykas (or Dom) from Vilnius, Lithuania. I am currently in first year of my bachelor’s degree, studying Mathematics and Computer Science in the University of Edinburgh. I have done Cambridge International A-Levels and took Maths, Physics and Computer Science, achieving three A*’s in all subjects. If you are in the same spot as many students, struggling with Maths and thinking that you are ‘bad’ at the subject - you are wrong. I believe that everyone can become good at Maths, especially through hard work. I was a student who was always average in Maths, always disliking the subject. However, having put in the work in Grade 11, I started to see progress and so came the motivation and passion that I have for the subject. Believe me when I say that you are not bad at Maths, you just need to find a way that works for you.

Having just finished A-Levels with the highest marks, I believe that, although studying can be very difficult and time-consuming, there is a way that works for everyone and through hard work, improvements come rapidly. I tutor every student differently, trying my best to find an approach that works best for them. I’m looking to tutor students who are doing A-Level Maths and can be flexible with the times for lessons, ranging anywhere from an hour to multiple hours. I have tutored students in grades 8-12 whilst still being in my senior year in high school. I promise that if you put in the work, you will see major improvements in your results!
