About Oscar
I am currently studying Mechatronics Engineering at Waikato University, after successfully completing NCEA Level 3. I have a strong background in math, music, and sciences and have enjoyed tutoring both formally and informally over the past few years. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while helping students gain confidence and achieve their goals. My experience as a tutor has shown me the value of patience and encouragement, and I look forward to working with motivated learners at any stage of their NCEA journey.

I offer tutoring to NCEA students, drawing on my own recent experience completing NCEA Level 3 and my current studies in engineering. My lessons typically run for one hour and are focused on building confidence and understanding. I have previously tutored chemistry in school and supported students in NCEA music, so I am comfortable explaining both technical and creative concepts in ways that suit different learning styles.
