The Principle of a successful course is simple:
1) Knowing the student's abilities (because yes, you never know anything at all;)).
2) Discuss with him his weaknesses and shortcomings .
3) Knowing the student's objective.
Once these elements are known, everything is in place to start a method of learning and understanding the subject.
Being still a student , I know the difficulties we can meet and in what situations can sometimes put us the teachers, the key is to have a strategy to approach the subject.

Raphaël est vraiment un super prof !! J'ai eu l'occasion de passer plusieurs séances avec lui pour ma remise à niveau en math, il est disponible, à l'écoute et il est vraiment fort pour expliquer des concepts qui peuvent parfois être assez complexes ! Merci à toi Raph ;)
