About Aashna
Hi, I’m a current dental student at the University of Leeds with first-hand experience of the UK dental school application process. I achieved a highly competitive UCAT score, secured multiple interview offers, and successfully gained a place at one of the top dental schools in the country. I was also offered places at Bristol and Newcastle. I’m passionate about helping aspiring dental students reach their goals. I understand how overwhelming the UCAT, interviews, and personal statements can feel — which is why I offer supportive, structured guidance to help students feel confident and well-prepared. Alongside my own application success, I’ve supported students as a mentor with Medic Mentor, where I’ve helped guide applicants from all backgrounds through the process. I bring both academic knowledge and recent, relevant experience to my tutoring. My approach is friendly, encouraging, and personalised to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. Whether you're aiming for a top UCAT score, preparing for MMIs, or trying to perfect your personal statement, I’m here to help you succeed.

As a current dental student, I understand the competitive nature of dental school applications and the challenges students face. My lessons are tailored specifically for sixth form/college students (typically aged 16–19) in the UK who are preparing to apply for dentistry. I offer support in the UCAT, dental school interviews (MMIs and panels), and personal statement writing. Whether you're just starting or need help fine-tuning your application, I adjust each session to your individual needs and goals. My teaching style is friendly, structured, and focused on building confidence. For UCAT, I break down question types and teach strategies that help improve speed and accuracy. For interviews, I provide mock MMI stations, feedback, and guidance on answering ethically challenging or personal questions. For personal statements, I offer step-by-step editing with detailed, constructive feedback. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and conducted online for convenience and flexibility. Having recently gone through the process myself, I know exactly what dental schools are looking for and how to help you stand out as a strong applicant.
