I have taught two children with neurodivergence before and my approach is always to make the children engage with the material in a way that makes it fun for them rather than it seeming like a chore. My approach is to not give the answers to the child, but rather let them explore and figure it out. My lessons would last an hour typically, preferring primary and intermediate level students.
