About Chenxi
Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker and currently a student at the University of Melbourne. I am fluent in both Chinese and English, which allows me to explain Chinese clearly and communicate comfortably with students from different backgrounds.
I’m a patient, friendly, and approachable person who enjoys helping others learn. I will tailor each lesson to your level, learning goals, and interests, whether you are just starting to learn Chinese or want to improve your speaking and everyday communication skills.
My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you can feel confident using Chinese and make steady progress. I look forward to helping you enjoy learning Chinese!

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-focused. I believe that learning Chinese should be practical, engaging, and enjoyable. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, goals, and learning style.
During lessons, I focus on a combination of conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday Chinese. I also use real-life examples and interactive activities to help students feel more comfortable using Chinese in practical situations. When needed, I can explain concepts in English to make learning easier and clearer.
As a native Chinese speaker and a current student at the University of Melbourne, I am fluent in both Chinese and English and can communicate and teach comfortably in both languages.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and students who want to improve their conversational Chinese. I am happy to work with both children and adults and can adjust the lesson content according to each student’s individual goals.
