About Eva
I'm currently a student studying in London, and have worked as a tutor on and off for 5 years. I suffered with a serious illness during Year 13 and missed sitting my A levels that year, and as a result had to have tutoring myself to catch-up. As an academic student this was challenging but has also made me passionate about tutoring others who want a bit of extra support, as I know how much of a difference this can make to happiness, confidence, mental wellbeing and academic results.

I have worked in both group and one-to-one tutoring settings and am used to working closely with the student and parents to design lessons that suit them best. Generally we would follow along with what the student is studying in class, doing worked examples that they found challenging to build confidence. I am happy to tailor the teaching to whatever the parent feels the student needs particular support with. I am comfortable tutoring primary age (Key stages 1 and 2) with lessons lasting 1 hour.
