About Katarina
Although most of my tutoring experience has been with high school students, I do have experience working with a wide age range. This last year I have had the opportunity to tutor middle school students in some math and English subjects. Additionally, I used to teach karate to young children (about 7-13), which allowed me to understand how to work with children of all ages and keep them focused on the material at hand.

I have been tutoring for about 3 years. I originally started because many of my friends were struggling in their math classes, and it forced me to quickly adapt to each individual students learning style. I realized that it was impossible to expect that every student understands the material in class. Many need additional explanations and different teaching methods. This is where I believe I would be a great help to students. I have a passion for teaching, and I never give up on a student. I use a wide variety of teaching methods and various learning exercises that not only help my students pass their next test, but also better equip them for future tests.
