About Ria
I am currently studying Neuroscience at degree level but studied English Literature at both GCSE and A-Level and have always really enjoyed the subject. I have been tutoring for 3 years and have seen many grades improve from the extra hard work put in by the students with my helping hand :).

In our sessions, we would annotate the text(s) together to start to enable us to discuss key concepts and ideas and see if we can find support for these ideas etc. From this, we will create point banks, quote banks, example paragraphs, theme sheets etc which will be on a shared google document for you to access for revision. I will also set practice essays that we can discuss and re-write together so that the student is able to understand the feedback and understand how to develop essay's in future. The average length of a lesson is one hour.
