My teaching method combines communicative language teaching (CLT) and task-based learning, with an emphasis on real-life use of Spanish. I focus on helping students build confidence through conversation, cultural understanding, and consistent practice in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I adapt each lesson to my students’ goals and learning styles. My techniques include: Immersive Spanish use: I encourage students to speak in Spanish as much as possible, using gestures, visuals, and context to aid comprehension. Contextual grammar: Instead of isolated drills, I teach grammar through meaningful examples, dialogues, and short texts. Interactive practice: Role plays, games, and real-world tasks (ordering food, making travel plans, describing a movie, etc.) keep learning engaging. Cultural integration: I incorporate music, film, and current events from the Spanish-speaking world to give language learning a cultural dimension. Personalized feedback: After each lesson, I provide notes on pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar to help students improve steadily.
