About Poppy
Hey I am Poppy! I’m an undergraduate studying History and English Literature and I’m aiming to become a teacher one day. I love making lessons fun and engaging, and I’m patient, creative, and understanding when helping students learn. I’ve got experience tutoring young children and helping Primary and GCSE students with History and English, and I always adapt lessons to what each student enjoys while covering the curriculum. I’m DBS checked, and when I’m not tutoring, you’ll usually find me doing art, taking photos, or hanging out with friends and family.

I offer tailored History and English tutoring at both Primary and GCSE level, with one-hour lessons that can include a short break depending on the student’s needs. With previous tutoring experience and a background in working with young children, I create engaging, supportive sessions that adapt to each student’s interests while ensuring the curriculum is covered to a high standard. I am DBS checked for your peace of mind, and my goal is to help students build confidence, understanding, and strong academic skills.
