About Angel
Hi! My name is Angel, and I’m a Math and Accounting major at Tarleton State University. I’ve always loved math and enjoy helping others understand it in a way that makes sense to them. I know that math can be challenging, but I also believe that with the right support and mindset, anyone can improve and even enjoy it.
I’ve worked with students at all grade levels, from elementary to college level, and I take pride in being patient, understanding, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and mean more than just getting by in class—I want to help you actually get it and feel confident doing it.
I bring not just knowledge, but a genuine passion for helping others grow. Whether you're struggling with basic math or tackling advanced topics, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

In a typical lesson, I start by reviewing any current topics or assignments the student is working on, then focus on breaking down the concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I use a mix of examples, guided practice, and step-by-step explanations, always making sure the student is following along and feels comfortable asking questions. I also like to work on problem-solving strategies and good study habits that will help long after the lesson ends.
I tutor all levels of K–12 math—from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for a big test, I’m here to help. What sets me apart is how approachable and understanding I am—I've been in those same classes, and I know how frustrating math can feel when it’s not clicking. But I also know how great it feels when it finally does, and I want to help you get there.
