About Cornelius
Hi, my name is Cornelius. I’m a maths student in 6th form, having gotten an 8 in GCSE maths, whilst participating in 11+ exams in primary school. I take pride in my maths and teaching ability. I’ve made many mistakes with maths in the past so hopefully I’ll be able to guide you and help you to avoid those same mistakes. Tutoring is a tool but unfortunately it’s no substitute for hard work so if you leave my lesson and don’t practise by yourself afterwards, it’ll have been a waste.

I’m very patient but stern. Since I used to receive tuition myself I can understand kids when they’re closed off and uninterested in the lessons and what they’re learning. I believe I have the ability to relate to them and therefore I’ll be able to bring out the best of their ability and help them enjoy doing the work. I have experience in tutoring year 11s in preparation for their maths GCSEs as well.
