I am new to tutoring, however, as a student, there are certain approaches or methods that I am implementing that I know would have certainly helped me as a student in primary or high school-
Identify the student's most effective teaching approach
Identify how long it takes the student to grasp new information and knowledge
Provide different ways to teach information
- I am proficient in English
I think most students are visual, so my typical lesson would involve a visual presentation of the topic like a short video or pictures, then teaching the topic in small easy to remember chunks, then I provide 2 exercises whether it's writing or practical and then provide homework afterwards so they can practise what was learnt.
