About Emily
My name is Emily, I am currently studying civil and environmental engineering in my junior year of college. I have always loved academics and was part of the honors college and have taken many advanced and AP classes. Outside of school, I love being outside, playing games, and hanging out with my family. I used to be a gymnast, cheerleader, and track athlete. Now I stay involved in other ways, I served in student government, have an engineering internship, and hold a vice president position in my club.

My teaching method focuses on helping the student through unknown material and then assisting them less as they become more comfortable. I have a huge emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking.My goal is to help the student feel confident about their abilities to perform and understand knowlege. I am very goal oriented and focus on setting and achieving the goals set by the student to help them focus on their own growth and aspriations. I am very flexible and want to help meet the needs of the student, I can help college students, highschoolers, or younger if they are feeling the need for support.
