About George
As mentioned prior, I’m studying communications, philosophy, and marketing at Boston College. I’ve tutored for over 15 students in the last 2 years in 5 different subjects and received honors from the National Society of High School Scholars as well as my High School’s educational department. My approach to mastering material is unique, and my methods have helped every student I’ve tutored before achieve a passing grade in the subject they studied with me. I formerly served as a tutor for the National Honors Society at my high school, and my experience tutoring highly intelligent students allowed me to understand that or organization, time management, and study skills are the most important parts of learning material effectively.
A typical lesson with me will evenly devote time to both the subject matter at hand, as well as a specific studying approach catered towards the way you learn most effectively. Whether it’s through memorization, hand written notes, audio or visual cues, etc. I’ll work hard to identify your strengths to help you develop effective studying habits to become the best learner y can be.
I also think my experience of getting into an extremely selective college in the top 10% of the US shows the results of mastering my own skills.
