About Nicholas
During my A-level studies, I thoroughly enjoyed not only mastering the subject but also helping my peers understand complex concepts. Sharing my knowledge and seeing others grow in confidence was incredibly rewarding. In the present at university, I see tutoring as the perfect way to support myself financially while continuing to make a meaningful impact on younger students. Currently in university I am in the Renewable Engineering Society, Formula Student Electronics and the Spaceflight Society. I have been really enjoying pushing my university experience further and would love to extend that to tutoring! Had past experience with supporting peers in examination method especially Edexcel. Also have been a part of an upper school paired numeracy skill where we aimed to improve basic numeracy skills for younger years.

Tutoring for Y9-Y13. A/AS-level and GCSE prioritising personalised experience to teaching as per students' preference, this includes flexible timing too up to 2 hours. This would include choices such as: Examination question run through, pre-prepared exam questions to review together and methodology is shown and explained. Going through any specific topic you are weak on with questions I find or simply just revising theory for solving questions. Provided exam questions to complete for the next session where we can mark and review mistakes to then cover how to improve. Tools used: Desmos for visualisation, textbooks for concepts and questions, exam questions from exam boards, virtual whiteboard.
