About Euan
I've been a teacher for 5 years in Scotland. I also taught in the south of France for a year in a French school. Having taught languages at schools and marked exam papers for the SQA, I have great experience in understanding the process of the exams, and how to maximise your grade. I believe in teaching to understand the language, and to love it. Although languages do require some memorisation practices, I've always found it important not to rely heavily on rote learning.

I believe in establishing a strong scaffolding framework in learning languages. I hate the idea of just memorising and hoping for the best, so I strive to teach how to understand the language at its heart.
I tutor from ages 12+, and having delivered lessons through National 5 to Advanced Higher, am experienced in understanding what the SQA is looking for in exams. I am also happy to teach adult/casual learners as well!
