About Olivia
I’m a bubbly university student studying psychology, and I have a deep passion for English that ignited during my secondary school years. I found joy in exploring literature, analysing texts, and honing my writing skills, which not only helped me excel academically but also shaped my love for language. I want to tutor GCSE English students because I believe that fostering a love for English can empower them both in their studies and in life. I’m excited to share my enthusiasm and insights, helping students build confidence in their abilities while making learning engaging and enjoyable.

I am happy to tutor students for GCSE exams in a way that is adaptable with their needs e.g. making flashcards, essay practise, annotations. I aim to show students how immersive and excelling English can be, both academically and personally.
A typical lesson with me can last from 30 minutes to an hour.
I have work experience as a teaching assistant in a Secondary school, English classroom.
My lessons are aimed at any ages from approx. 12-16.
